Another example of a beautifully restored, fully functional Canon A-1 film SLR. Body of the camera is in excellent condition, no major scratches, just a small amount of brassing around the strap lugs on the top and the film door edges. Dial lettering is bright. Shutter fires accurately at all speeds, film transport, timer and meter all work properly. Mirror release mechanism was lubricated and shutter is squeak-free. Viewfinder and focusing screen are bright and clear. Original leatherette are in excellent shape. Light seals and mirror guard were just replaced with fresh foam for years of trouble-free shooting ($25 value). The camera is equipped with a original finger grip, viewfinder eyecup, aftermarket camera strap, factory manual and a fresh battery for the meter. This camera comes with two lenses: Canon FD 50mm f/1.8 standard prime lens and FORMULA5 75-205mm telephoto zoom. Both lenses are made in Japan and in excellent condition. The glass elements are free from scratches, aperture blades are oil-free and snappy. There is a small amount of thin fungus inside the Canon lens, which should not have any effect on the photos. The barrels are dent-fee, with minimal paint loss from normal use, mostly on the front rim. The zoom lens was engraved on the barrel by the previous owner. Both lenses come with UV filters and generic front caps.
