Canon A-1 advanced film SLR in very good restored condition. Shutter fires accurately at all speeds, film advance, rewind and meter work properly.  Mirror release mechanism was lubricated and shutter is squeak-free.  Viewfinder and focusing screen are clean and clear, Canon viewfinder eyecup is included. Light seals were replaced with new foam and felt, original leatherette is in excellent shape. Some brassing on the sides of the camera, minor superficial scratches on the top, and some brassing and scratches on the bottom panel from the tripod mount. These minor cosmetic flaws give this body professional character and don't distract from the clean, classic look. This A-1 comes with a colorful vintage strap and a genuine Canon leather camera case.

 

The camera is equipped with a standard Canon FD 50mm f/1.8 prime lens in excellent condition. Glass is scratch-free, no fungus, the barrel has no major signs of use. Aperture functions properly, no oil on the blades. The lens comes with a 1980 Winter Olympics front cap in very good shape (minor scratches). In addition to the 50mm prime, we include a compact JC Penney 2x teleconverter with this camera, which will effectively double your reach for great versatility. Finally, this set also includes a fully functional and clean Canon Winder A1. Clean battery compartment, the winder works perfectly with the camera (AA batteries not included).
