This particular Canon A-1 is in Exc++ condition, very well preserved. Just a few microscratches on the top, no brassing. Dial lettering is bright, movement is smooth. Shutter fires accurately at all speeds, film advance, rewind and meter work properly.  Mirror release mechanism was lubricated and shutter is squeak-free.  Battery door is intact and functional. Viewfinder and focusing screen are bright and clear of dust. Minor discoloration on the back of the shutter curtain, no effect on operation. Light seals were replaced with new foam and felt, original leatherette is in excellent shape. The camera comes with a Canon viewfinder eyecup and finger grip.

 

Canon FD 50mm f/1.8 prime lens that comes with this body is in Exc++ condition. Scratch-free glass, no fungus or oil on aperture blades. The barrel has no scratches, dents or brassing. Focusing is smooth and aperture action is snappy. The lens comes with a Canon 1980 Olympics front cap and Tiffen Haze filter. Original Canon camera strap and fresh battery are included.
