Canon A-1 in very good condition, just serviced and fully functional. One of the most advanced and full-featured Canon film SLR's of its day, with a digital LED display. A robust camera, well regarded by advanced amateurs and semi-pro photographers, but user-friendly for a beginner.

 

FUNCTION

Shutter, timer, meter and film transport all work properly. Mirror release was lubricated and shutter is squeak-free. Light seals and mirror guard are brand new ($25 value).
 

COSMETICS

Very good. No major scratches or dents. Some brassing next to the strap lugs and sides of the camera. Bright and clean lettering on the dials. Focusing screen is dust-free. Battery door has a chipped lower corner, but still functions fine. Original leatherette is in excellent shape. The camera comes with the original Canon finger grip, viewfinder cup and body cap.
