Great collector's find - a complete, fully functional Canon A1 bundle with two lenses, all original boxes and even original bill of sale! One of the most advanced and full-featured Canon film cameras of its day, with a digital LED display for shutter speed and aperture and a full set of features. Robust camera, well regarded by advanced amateurs and semi-pro photographers, but user-friendly for a beginner. Full user manual is available at Butkus.org.

FUNCTION
Shutter, film transport and self-timer work properly. Meter appears to respond properly to light, shutter and lens settings (accuracy was not verified with film). Shutter is squeak-free. Original finger grip and viewfinder cup are included. Light seals and mirror guard are in good condition and don't merit replacement at this time (can be performed at buyer's request for $29 extra).
 

COSMETICS
Very good, with no dents, cracks or other major blemishes. Minor scuffs consistent with average use and age. Some brassing and paint shipping on the bottom - see photos. Sharp, legible lettering on the dials. Focusing screen and viewfinder are pristine. Original leatherette is in excellent condition. Battery door is intact. The camera was very well kept by the original owner.
 

COMES WITH

• Canon FD 50mm f/1.4 prime lens and Canon FD 70-150 f/4.5 telephoto zoom lens. Both lenses are in EXC condition. Scratch-free glass, no fungus. Aperture is dry and works properly. Focus is smooth. Barrels show minor wear, no dents. Both original caps, manuals and factory boxes are included for both lenses. Dedicated case for the zoom lens (fair condition, some cracks and peeling), with factory carton.
• Original factory box for the camera body, manual and lens brochure. Canon camera strap and body cap. Fresh battery and a roll of Portra 800 film (expired, use at your own risk).
