Just restored, fully functional Canon A1 film SLR, with 1984 Olympics branded lens. One of the most advanced and full-featured Canon film cameras of its day, with a digital LED display for shutter speed and aperture and a full set of features. Robust camera, well regarded by advanced amateurs and semi-pro photographers, but user-friendly for a beginner. Full user manual is available at Butkus.org.

FUNCTION
Shutter, film transport and self-timer work properly. Meter appears to respond properly to light, shutter and lens settings (accuracy was not verified with film). Shutter is squeak-free. Light seals and mirror guard have been replaced.
 

COSMETICS
Very good, with no dents, cracks or other major blemishes. Minor scuffs throughout, consistent with average use and age. Some brassing and scratches on the bottom - please see photos. Sharp, legible lettering on the dials. Viewfinder is dust-free, however there is some dust on the upper surface of the focusing screen (will not affect photo quality). Original leatherette is in excellent condition. Battery door is intact.

• Canon FD 50mm f/1.8 prime lens in Very Good condition. Scratch-free glass, no fungus. There is minor coating loss on the front element and internal dust - should not affect performance. Aperture blades are dry. Focus is smooth. Barrel shows average wear, no dents. Original cap with 1984 Olympics insignia and Hoya Skylight filter are included.
• Canon camera strap and and a fresh battery.
• Vivitar Thirystor power flash. Excellent condition, works properly, batteries not included.
