One of the most popular Canon film cameras of its day, with a LED meter display, Program and Aperture Priority modes and a full set of manual shutter speeds. Robust camera, well regarded by advanced amateurs, but user-friendly for a beginner. This particular camera is a scarce black-body variety and comes with a FL type 50mm prime lens, seldom seen on this camera - very sharp!

FUNCTION

Shutter, timer, meter and film transport all work properly. Shutter is squeak-free. Light seals and mirror guard were just replaced ($25 value).
 

COSMETICS

Excellent. No dents of major scratches, just minor brassing next to strap lugs. Clear lettering on the dials. Focusing screen and viewfinder are bright, with a few tiny specs of dust only (will not affect operation). Battery door is intact. Original leatherette is in excellent shape.

• Canon FL 50mm f/1.8 prime lens in excellent condition. Glass is scratch-free, no fungus. Aperture is snappy and blades are free from oil. Focusing is smooth. The barrel shows almost no wear, all markings are bright and legible. New generic front cap and rare genuine Canon lens hood are included.
• Original Canon camera strap, body cap and a fresh battery for the camera. A roll of film is included as well (expired, use at your own risk).
