One of the most popular Canon film cameras of its day, with a LED meter display, Program and Aperture Priority modes and a full set of manual shutter speeds. Robust camera, well regarded by advanced amateurs, but user-friendly for a beginner. This unit has just been serviced and ready to shoot.
Shutter, timer, meter and film transport all work properly. Shutter is squeak-free. Light seals and mirror guard were just replaced ($25 value).
EXC+. No dents of major scratches. Clear lettering on the dials. Focusing screen and viewfinder are bright, with a few tiny specs of dust only (will not affect operation). Battery door has a small chip on the bottom corner, but still closes and locks properly. Original leatherette is in excellent shape.
- Canon FD 50mm f/1.8 prime lens in very good condition. Glass is scratch-free, no fungus. Aperture is snappy and blades are free from oil. Focusing is smooth. The barrel shows average wear, with a few small nicks and dents on the front rim. All markings are bright and legible. Generic front cap and screw-in lens hood are included.
- Vintage camera strap, Canon camera case (average wear) and a fresh battery for the camera. A roll of film is included as well (expired, use at your own risk).
