Fujica ST705 film SLR in very good cosmetic and functional condition. Excellent student camera, with a full range of mechanical shutter speeds (battery is not required!), split-prism focusing screen, built-in self timer, TTL metering and a straightforward needle-type light meter indication in the viewfinder. Fujica ST series are well known for robust operation and a very "dark" (well light-proofed) mirror box, which helps with contrast. This particular camera is a desirable Black body.

 

FUNCTION

Shutter, meter, film transport and timer all work properly. Brand new light seals and mirror guard were installed ($25 value).
 

COSMETICS

Very good. No dents, just brassing throughout - mostly on the bottom and near strap lugs. Clean and sharp lettering on the dial. Focusing screen and viewfinder are bright and clear of dust, but there are a few small cleaning marks on the periphery (will not affect shooting in any way). Minor signs of corrosion in and around battery cap. Original leatherette is in good condition - just one area of discoloration on the back.

• EBC Fujinon 55mm f/1.8 prime lens in EXC condition. Glass is scratch-free, no fungus. Aperture is snappy and blades are free from oil. Aperture tab is intact. Barrel of the lens shows minimal wear. Generic front cap is included.NOTE: Focusing is rough and tight throughout the range. It will work fine for now, but the lens may benefit from helicoid re-lubing- please keep in mind when bidding! This lens is known for a smooth "bubble" bokeh.
