  • Minolta XD11 Chrome / Black Alligator

Super-clean Minolta XD11 set. XD11 was the world's first camera with aperture priority and shutter priority, as well as a fully metered manual mode.  Body of this particular XD11 is very clean and shows only minimal signs of use. Just a small amount of brassing on the film door frame and some minor scratches on the bottom panel. No major scuffs or dents, lettering is bright. Shutter fires accurately at all speeds, film advance, timer, rewind and meter all work properly. Viewfinder and focusing screen are spotless. Light seals and mirror bumper are brand new. Original leatherette was replaced with pigskin leather in Black Alligator embossed pattern for a timeless and refined look.

This unit is equipped with an excellent MD Rokkor-X PF 50mm f/1.7 prime lens. The lens shows moderate wear on the barrel, but optically is perfect. Glass is clear, free of scratches and fungus. Aperture action is snappy and blades are oil-free. The rubber trim on the focusing ring is a bit loose, but we can replace it free of charge with the matching leather band, at customer's request. Nice quality Hoya UV filter and Sigma front cap are included.

Minolta Auto 200x flash unit is in excellent shape and appears to sync and fire properly, when attached to the camera (AA batteries not provided). Last but not least, Minolta Winder D in excellent cosmetic and functional condition, finished in matching Black Alligator leather is included with the camera. This film winder typically sells for $25-30 on its own. Both winder and flash come with their original leather cases. Original Minolta strap is included as well.
