Top-of-the-line Minolta film SLR of 1977 and a choice of many a professional photographer of the period, XD11 is a highly collectable camera. XD-series were beautifully built and loaded with advanced features, including shutter and aperture priority mode shooting and DOF preview. The camera was developed by Minolta in conjunction with Leica, and the body became the basis for the Leica R4. Full user manual is available here.

This particular unit is in EXC+ condition, with only minor signs of use. Couple of tiny area of chrome pitting on the top and some small superficial scratches on the bottom of the camera - all consistent with age and normal use, and don't detract from overall very clean appearance of the camera. Original leatherette was professionally replaced with genuine pigskin leather embossed with a Blue Dragonskin pattern - looks absolutely stunning. Functionally the camera is perfect - shutter fires accurately at all speeds, film advance, rewind and meter all work properly. Viewfinder and focusing screen are pristine. Light seals and mirror bumper were just replaced.

Two genuine Minolta MD lenses are included with this body - Rokkor-X 50mm f/1.4 fast normal prime and 100-200mm f/5.6 telephoto zoom. Both lenses are in excellent condition, with crystal-clear, scratch- and fungus-free glass. All rings rotate smoothly, apertures snappy and blades are oil-free. 50mm lens has a bit of paint loss on the mount side, not visible when the lens is on the camera (please see photos). Genuine Minolta front caps are included, as well as three quality filters - Vivitar UV, Hoya circular polarizer and Prinz star - all in 55mm diameter to fit either of the lenses.

This set also includes a fully functional Minolta XD winder ($30 value on its own, finished in matching leather!) and Minolta Auto 200x flash (both in original leather cases). Both winder and flash require 4xAA batteries to operate (not included). Finally, genuine Minolta camera strap, body cap, original manuals for everything and a set of fresh batteries for the meter are included as well. Outstanding bundle with one of the best film Minolta SLR bodies at its core - beautifully restored for your enjoyment.
