The camera was developed by Minolta in conjunction with Leica, and the body became the basis for the Leica R4. Full user manual is available here.

Shutter, meter, film transport, timer all work properly. Brand new seals and mirror guard installed.

Excellent. Minor chrome pitting on the top, near the shutter speed dial. A few superficial on the bottom, consistent with age and moderate use. No dents. Some old corrosion inside the battery cap was cleaned off. Original leatherette professionally replaced with genuine suede in Pearl Python pattern - stunning and very pleasant to touch.

There is a small area of what looks to be coating separation on the rear element, which will have no effect on the quality of photos. Aperture is snappy and blades are free from oil. Focusing is a bit tight but smooth. The barrel of the lens shows minimal wear, with one tiny dent on the front rim (the filter thread are unaffected). Tiffen UV filter and generic front cap are included.
