Top of the line Minolta film SLR from late 1970's. Co-developed with Leica, XD11 was revolutionary at the time and is still widely considered to be one of the best film cameras Minolta ever produced. This particular camera is a scarce early-production model, with exposure compensation selector on the prism side.
Shutter, meter, and film transport work properly. Self-timer is a bit sluggish, which is common in 40-year old cameras, and should bet better with regular use.Brand new light seals and mirror guard installed ($25 value).
MINT- No blemishes on the body of the camera, just some micro-scratches on the bottom from normal use. Bright and sharp lettering on the dials. Focusing screen and viewfinder are pristine. Original leatherette professionally replaced with genuine pigskin leather embossed in Black Alligator pattern black pigskin leather - looks stunning and timeless with a chrome body.
- Minolta MD Rokkor-X 45mm f2.0 in EXC++ condition. Compact prime lens, made in Japan. Crystal-clear glass, with no visible scratches or fungus. Aperture is snappy and blades are free from oil. Focusing is a touch tight but smooth. The barrel of the lens is practically brand new, no dents. The lens comes with a new generic front cap and two filters - UV and circular polarizer.
- Minolta film winder D, finished in matching leather, working perfectly with the camera - typically sells for $25-30 on its own. Minolta Auto 200x power flash in excellent working condition with original leatherette case (AA batteries for the winder and flash are not included).
