Minolta XD11 Chrome / Brown pigskin
Restored Minolta XD11 finished in brown leather, with a fast Minolta 50mm prime and a bonus 135mm telephoto lens. Co-developed with Leica, XD series cameras were revolutionary at the time and is still widely considered to among the best film cameras Minolta ever produced. They were the first Minolta SLRs to feature automated shutter-priority mode. Excellent choice for a student or collector.
FUNCTION
Shutter, meter, self-timer and film transport work properly. Winder handle is a bit sluggish to snap back, but works fine. Brand new light seals and mirror guard installed.
COSMETICS
EXC+. No dents or noticeable cosmetic blemishes, very minor chrome pitting around the shutter speed dial. Bright and sharp lettering on the dials. Focusing screen and viewfinder are clear with just a few tiny specs of dust (will not affect perfromance). Original leatherette was professionally replaced with brown pigskin leather.
COMES WITH
- Minolta MD Rokkor-X 50mm f/1.4 prime lens in MINT- condition. Pristine glass, no fungus, very minor internal dust (will not affect performance). Aperture is snappy, blades are oil-free. Focusing is smooth. The barrel shows minimal signs of use, no dents. Comes with Hoya Skylight filter and Minolta front cap (logo partially worn, sits a bit loose). Vintage camera strap and a set of fresh batteries.
- BONUS: Minolta MC Tele Celtic QD 135mm f/3.5 lens - clean, scratch-free glass, no fungus, with both caps. Minor oil on aperture, will benefit from service.
