Minolta XD11 Chrome / Beige Lizard
Classic Minolta XD11, just serviced and finished in custom genuine lambskin leather. Co-developed with Leica, XD series cameras were revolutionary at the time and is still widely considered to among the best film cameras Minolta ever produced. They were the first Minolta SLRs to feature automated shutter-priority mode. Excellent choice for a student or collector.
Shutter, self-timer and film transport work properly. Meter is functional and appears accurate, but was not verified with film. Brand new light seals and mirror guard installed ($29 value).
EXC. No dents or major cosmetic blemishes. Minor scratches on the bottom, consistent with moderate use and age. Sharp legible lettering on the dials. Focusing screen and viewfinder are bright and dust-free. Original leatherette was professionally replaced with genuine lambskin leather embossed in Beige Lizard pattern.
- Minolta MC Rokkor-PF 50mm f/1.7 prime lens. EXC condition, with clear, scratch-free glass, no fungus. Just a touch of haze on the periphery of the rear element (will not affect performance). Aperture is snappy, blades are oil-free. Focusing is smooth. The barrel shows minimal signs of use, no dents. Comes with original Minolta front cap.
- Set of fresh batteries, Minolta camera strap and a roll of slide film (expired, use at your own risk).
