Minolta XD11 Chrome / Brown
Another restored Minolta XD11 - this one is finished in brown leather and comes with a fast f1.4 prime lens. Co-developed with Leica, XD series cameras were revolutionary at the time and is still widely considered to among the best film cameras Minolta ever produced. They were the first Minolta SLRs to feature automated shutter-priority mode.
Shutter and film transport work perfectly. Self-timer works but a bit sluggish. Meter responds to light, camera settings and appears accurate (was not verified with film). Brand new light seals and mirror guard installed.
EXC+. No dents or other major cosmetic blemishes. Tiny bit of brassing on the door hinge. Lettering on the dials is bright and legible. Focusing screen and viewfinder are bright, with just a couple of small specs of dust (will not affect shooting). Original leatherette was professionally replaced with genuine Brown pigskin leather.
- Minolta MD Rokkor-X 50mm f/1.4 prime lens. EXC condition, clear, scratch-free glass, no fungus or haze. Aperture is snappy, blades are oil-free. Focusing is a bit tight but smooth. The barrel shows minimal wear. Comes with a Minolta front cap and Tiffen Skylight filter.
- Minolta 200x power flash with dedicated leather case. Average cosmetic condition, works well with he camera (batteries not included).
