Classic Minolta XE-5 film SLR, just restored and fully functional. Sharing many features with the flagship XE-7, one of the most robust film cameras from 1970's. If you are looking for a film camera that is built like a tank - this is it!
Shutter, meter, film transport, timer all work properly. Battery check switch lights up. Brand new light seals and mirror guard installed ($25 value).
Close to mint. Very minor signs of use, no major dents or scratches. Bright and clean lettering on the dials. Focusing screen and viewfinder are bright and clear of dust. There is NO prism de-silvering (common in this camera). Original leatherette is in excellent shape, no tears or stains. Rare to find an XE-series body in such a nice condition.
- Minolta MD Rokkor-X 50mm f/1.7 prime lens. The lens shows some wear, but is still perfectly functional. No scratches on glass, but there is a small patch of fungus on the front element, close to the edge (unlikely to have any effect on optical performance). Aperture is snappy and blades are free from oil. Focusing is smooth. The barrel of the lens shows some paint loss, mostly on the front rim, but no dents. The lens comes with a new generic front cap.
- Soligor 85-205mm f/3.8 telephoto zoom lens. Clean, scratch-free glass, aperture works properly. Minimal wear on the barrel. Comes with original Soligor front cap, Minolta rear cap and two Soligor 62mm filters - 81A and 81B. Leatherette case for the lens and filter cases are included as well. Great lens for nature photography.
- Original Minolta camera strap and a set of fresh batteries for the camera.
