This scarce black-body Minolta XG9 is in excellent condition and was finished in a classic Black Pigskin leather. No dents or major scratches, just some minor brassing around the strap-lugs, this camera is better preserved than 90% of black-bodies of the era. Shutter fires accurately at all speeds, film advance, timer, rewind and meter all work properly. Viewfinder and focusing screen are nice and bright with just a couple of small specs of dust in the field of view, which will not affect the quality of your photos. Brand new light seals were installed. This body was matched to a compact Minolta MD 50mm f/1.7 prime lens. There is a small amount of paint loss on the front rim of the barrel, but the glass is clear and free of scratches. All rings rotate smoothly, aperture blades are oil-free. The lens comes with an original front cap. Genuine Minolta camera manual, vintage strap and a working Kalimar 173A Auto flash are included. Great beginner or student SLR.
