Bright and cheerful, this chrome-top Minolta XG9 looks great in Yellow Alligator pigskin leather. Fully functional Minolta XG-9 film SLR - prefect starter camera. One of the more advances cameras in Minolta XG series, popular in 1970's. Full range of manual shutter speeds and aperture priority mode, bright viewfinder - great for learning photography.
Shutter, meter, film transport and timer all work properly. One tooth of the take-up spool inside is missing, but the remaining three will work just fine to hold the film. Brand new light seals and mirror guard were installed ($25 value).
Excellent. No dents, just minor scratches from normal use. Clean and sharp lettering on the dials. Focusing screen and viewfinder are bright, with just a few tiny specs of dust (will not affect shooting). Original leatherette was professionally replaced with genuine pigskin cover embossed in Yellow Alligator pattern.
- Minolta MD Rokkor-X 50mm f/2 prime lens in EXC+ condition. No visible scratches or fungus. Aperture is snappy and blades are free from oil. Focusing is smooth. The barrel of the lens shows minimal wear. The lens comes with a new generic front cap and a filter.
