Popular SLR of the 80's, Minolta XG-M is a great choice for a beginner film shooter or a student. More compact and lighter than other cameras of the period, very ergonomic and easy to use, with a bright viewfinder and full manual control of the shutter speeds, along with aperture-priority mode. Set lens aperture is displayed in the viewfinder, very convenient feature.
Shutter, film transport, self-timer and meter all work properly. Brand new light seals just installed for years of trouble-free performance ($25 value).
Near mint. No dents, just some micro-scratches from normal use. Clean and sharp lettering on the dials. Focusing screen and viewfinder are bright, with just a few tiny specs of dust (will not affect shooting). Original leatherette is in excellent condition.
- Minolta MD 50mm f/2 prime lens in EXC condition. No visible scratches or fungus. Aperture is snappy and blades are free from oil. Focusing is smooth. The barrel of the lens shows minor wear, mostly small scuffs on the front rim (filter threads intact). The lens comes with a new generic front cap.
- Vintage Minolta camera strap (fair shape) and a set of fresh batteries.
