The best looking Pentax K1000 SE we currently have in stock. Only 1 in 10 of all K1000's produced are "Special Edition". This version of the camera is equipped with a focusing screen that incorporates a split image rangefinder with a microprism collar, making it more convenient to use.

The body of this unit is very close to brand new - no dents, scratches or brassing anywhere. Shutter fires accurately at all settings, film transport and meter work perfectly. Viewfinder and focusing screen are pristine. Brand new light seals and mirror bumper were just installed ($25 value).

This body comes with two excellent Pentax prime lenses: SMC Pentax-M 50mm f/1.7 and Takumar Byonet 135mm f/2.5 telephoto. Both lenses are in EXC++ condition, with crystal clear optics, no visible scratches or fungus, just minor internal dust (normal). Focusing is smooth, apertures are snappy and blades are oil-free. Barrels shows shows practically no signs of wear. Genuine Pentax front lens caps for both lenses are included, as well as Hoya Skylight filter for the 50mm prime, original K1000 factory manual and Pentax camera strap. Finally, a compact Takumar flash unit (needs 2x AA batteries - not included) and a fresh battery for the camera's meter are provided. Very clean, versatile collector-grade film SLR set.
