A true classic, a desirable Pentax K1000 with Pentax SMC 55mm f/1.8 prime lens. Newer unit, this camera is in excellent condition, with just a little bit of paint loss on the film door frame and viewfinder. No dents or major scratches on the camera body. Shutter fires accurately at all speeds, film advance, rewind and meter work properly (meter accuracy was not verified). Viewfinder and focusing screen are clean, with just a couple of tiny specs of dust (no effect on shooting). Light seals are original and in good condition, but we can replace them for $25 extra. Lens glass and barrel are in excellent condition, no scratches or fungus. High quality multi-coated lens, made in Japan. Rings rotate smoothly, aperture blades are oil-free. Lens front cap, camera strap and fresh battery for the camera is included. Perfect beginner film SLR.
