Latest version of Pentax K1000 SE in excellent shape, finished in a snakeskin-pattern genuine suede for a unique and refined look. This SLR is superior to a regular edition K1000, with a higher quality focusing screen. The camera body is very clean, with just a few scratches on the bottom panel from normal use, and small amount of chrome pitting on top around the dials. Shutter fires perfectly at all speeds, film advance, rewind and meter all work properly (meter accuracy was not verified). Film door is a bit tight. Viewfinder and focusing screen are bright and clean. Light seals were just replaced ($25 value). This particular camera comes with two lenses: standard SMC Pentax-M 50mm f/2.0 and Kalimar 28mm f/2.8 wide-angle. Both lenses have scratch-free and fungus-free glass, aperture blades are free from oil. Focusing is smooth, aperture action is snappy. Barrels are in good shape. Pentax lens has a small dent on the front rim, which will affect filter mounting, but has no influence on the optical properties. A fresh battery for the meter, generic front caps for both lenses and a camera strap are included. are included. Excellent set, very clean.
