Rare Pentax K1000 SE in Black leatherette. This less common film SLR is superior to the "regular edition' of K1000, with a higher quality split-prism focusing screen. This particular unit is in Exc+ condition. No brassing, dents or major scratches, bright lettering on the dials. Shutter appears to fire accurately, film advance, rewind and meter all work properly (meter accuracy was not verified with film). Viewfinder and focusing screen are pristine. Light seals and mirror bumper were just replaced with fresh foam for years of flawless service ($25 value). The camera is equipped with SMC Pentax-M 50mm f/2.0 normal prime lens in near-mint condition. No visible scratches on the glass or fungus, aperture blades are free from oil. Focusing is smooth, aperture action is snappy. Barrel shows no signs of use. The lens comes with a original Asahi Pentax front cap, a UV filter and a set of Hanimex close-up lenses. In addition, this set also includes a practically new Pentax flash, which works great with the camera (AA bateries not provided). Factory manual, Pentax strap for the camera, leatherette cases for the flash and the close-up lenses and fresh battery for the meter are included. Very clean set.
