Another beautiful collector's item - rare Pentax K1000 SE in original brown leather. This less common film SLR is superior to the regular edition of K1000, with easier to use split-prism focusing screen. This particular unit has just been serviced and is in perfect functional condition. Shutter fires accurately at all speeds, film advance, rewind and meter all work properly. Viewfinder and focusing screen are pristine. Light seals (including internal, around the prism) and mirror bumper were replaced ($25 value). Body is well preserved, with just a bit of brassing on the film door and viewfinder frames, superficial scratches on the bottom from normal use and one tiny dent near hotshoe mount (barely visible). Lettering on the dials is bright. Fresh battery for the meter and a colorful vintage camera strap are included. This beautiful camera is equipped with an excellent and fast SMC Pentax-M 50mm f/1.7 prime lens. No visible scratches on the glass or fungus, aperture blades are free from oil. Focusing is smooth, aperture action is snappy. No dents or scratches on the barrel. The lens comes with a rare Asahi Pentax SMC Skylight filter and original front cap. In this set, we also include a clean and compact Vivitar 2000 flash unit, that syncs and fires properly, when used with this camera (AA batteries not included).
