Pentax K1000 SE in VG condition, with black leatherette cover. Less common than a regular K1000, this version is equipped with a focusing screen that incorporates a split image rangefinder with a microprism collar, making it more convenient to use. The body of this unit is free from dents or major scratches, just some brassing on the painted areas of the film door and viewfinder frame, minor chrome pitting on the top cover. The camera was cleaned and lubricated inside and out and works great. Shutter fires accurately, film transport and meter work as they should. Viewfinder and focusing screen are bright and clear, with just a few tiny specks of dust. Light seals and mirror bumper were replaced ($25 value). This body comes with SMC Pentax-M 50mm f/1.4 fast normal prime lens in VG condition. Both front and rear elements are scratch-free. No fungus apparent, but there is some internal haze and dust. Please see last two photos taken with this lens (f/4, resized JPG's straight out of the camera, no post-processing). Focusing is smooth, aperture action is snappy and blades are oil-free. Barrel is dent- and scratch-free. The lens comes with a genuine Asahi Pentax front cap and a Hoya Skylight filter. Fresh battery for the meter is included with the camera.
