Rare Pentax K1000 SE with brown leatherette cover in EXC++ condition. Less common than a regular K1000, this version is equipped with a focusing screen that incorporates a split image rangefinder with a microprism collar, making it more convenient to use.

The body of this unit is close to mint, apart from a couple of small scratches on the top of the prism cover and some brassing on the viewfinder frame - please see photos. The camera was cleaned and lubricated inside and out and works great. Shutter fires accurately at all speeds, film transport and meter work perfectly. Viewfinder and focusing screen are pristine, no dust visible. Light seals and mirror bumper were replaced ($25 value). This body comes with SMC Pentax-M 50mm f/2.0 normal prime lens in EXC+ condition. Glass is scratch-free, no fungus. Focusing is smooth, aperture action is snappy and blades are oil-free. Barrel is close to mint, just a touch of paint loss on the front rim. The lens comes with a genuine Pentax front cap and three 49mm filters: UV, Diffusion and Red for your black-and-white photography. Genuine Pentax camera strap and fresh battery for the meter is included with this camera.
