Highly desirable, scarce Pentax K1000 SE in original black leatherette, in excellent condition. This camera is superior to a regular edition K1000, with a better quality focusing screen. This particular camera is perfect functionally, and excellent cosmetically. Small amount of brassing around the corners of the film door, a few minor scuffs and a tiny dent on the top, next to the hot shoe - no other blemishes. Shutter fires perfectly at all speeds, film advance, rewind and meter all work properly (meter accuracy was not verified). Viewfinder and focusing screen are bright and clear. A ultra-rare Asahi Pentax viewfinder eyecup is included. Light seals and mirror bumper were just replaced with fresh foam ($25 value).

The camera is equipped with a Pentax-M 50mm f/2.0 standard prime lens in close to mint condition. No visible scratches or fungus, aperture blades are free from oil. Focusing is smooth, aperture action is snappy. Barrel is clean and scratch free. The lens comes with a nice Hoya Skylight filter and genuine Pentax rubber front cap. Vintage camera strap and a fresh battery for the meter are included.
