Highly desirable, scarce Pentax K1000 SE in original Brown leather and excellent shape. This SLR is superior to a regular edition K1000, with a higher quality split-prism focusing screen. The camera was obviously well-cared for and shows minimal signs of use: there is a just a small amount of brassing on the sides of of the film door and viewfinder frame, no dents or major scratches on other surfaces, bright lettering on the dials. Shutter fires perfectly at all speeds, film advance, rewind and meter all work properly (meter accuracy was not verified with film). Viewfinder and focusing screen are bright and clean. Light seals and mirror bumper are brand new. The camera is equipped with SMC Pentax-M 50mm f/2.0 normal prime lens in excellent condition. The lens is made in Japan. No visible scratches on the glass or fungus, aperture blades are free from oil. Small amount of internal dust may be present, which is normal and will not affect your photos. Focusing is smooth, aperture action is snappy. Barrel is clean and scratch free, with just a tiny amount of age-appropriate brassing on the aperture ring and front rim. The lens comes with a rare metal Asahi Pentax front cap and a new Uv filter. A wide colorful vintage strap for the camera (see choices available) are fresh battery for the meter) are included. Asahi Pentax right angle viewer can be added to the camera ($25 extra) or a set of Quantaray close-up lenses ($10 extra).
