Beautiful copy of a film classic, one the best cameras we have available. Pentax K1000 SE, as close to mint as you can get and fully functional - perfect for a student or collector. This particular camera is a desirable Special Edition version from a later production run and comes with a fast SMC Pentax 50mm f/1.4 prime lens.

 

FUNCTION

Shutter and film transport work properly. Meter responds to light, lens aperture and shutter speed settings, but accuracy was not verified with film. Brand new seals (including internal around the prism) and mirror guard installed for years of trouble-free operation.
 

COSMETICS

Near mint. No dents or major scuffs anywhere, no brassing. Bright and clean lettering on the shutter speed dial. Focusing screen and viewfinder are pristine. Original leatherette is perfect condition.
 

COMES WITH

 

• SMC Pentax 50mm f/1.4 normal prime lens (made in Japan). Perfect glass on the lens, no scratches or fungus. Aperture is snappy and blades are free from oil. Focusing is smooth. The barrel of the lens shows moderate wear, a few minor scuffs on the front rim. The lens comes with the original Pentax 52mm cap (rare!) a full complement of 52mm filters for your creative needs: UV, circular polarizer, a set of three Soligor close up lenses and Spiratone Vignetar.
• Pentax camera strap, Asahi Pentax camera case (fits the camera with regular f/2.0 lens, not included), factory manual, Pentax body cap and a fresh battery for the camera meter.
