Pentax K1000 Special Edition in factory original Brown leatherette. The camera is a thought after SE version with a split prism focusing screen - perfect for a beginner film shooter.

FUNCTION

Shutter and film transport work properly. Meter responds properly to light, lens aperture and shutter speed settings, but accuracy was not verified with film. Light seals (including internal around the prism) and mirror guard have just been replaced. Fresh battery is included.
 

COSMETICS

VG+. No dents or major blemishes, just minor chrome brassing on top, average scratches on the bottom from normal use. Clean and sharp lettering on the shutter speed dial. Focusing screen and viewfinder are bright, with just a couple of small specs of dust which will not affect the quality of photos. Original brown leatherette is in very good condition, slightly peeling on the side edges. Battery cap has been drilled through and can be easily opened. "SE" sticker on the front has partially worn out.

• SMC Pentax-M 50mm f/2.0 normal prime lens. Scratch-free glass, no fungus. There is minor peripheral haze. Aperture is snappy and blades are free from oil. Focusing is smooth. The barrel of the lens shows minor wear, no dents. The lens comes with original Asahi Pentax front cap. BONUS: Hoya multi-vision filter.
• SMC Pentax-M 40-80mm f/2.8 zoom lens. Scratch-free glass, no fungus. Aperture has traces of oil, but operates properly. Focusing is smooth. The barrel of the lens shows minor wear, no dents. The lens comes with new generic front and rear caps.
