Pentax K1000 SE / Diamond Leatherette
Holy Grail of vintage Pentax cameras, this ultra-rare Pentax K1000 Special Edition in factory "Diamond" leatherette has just been fully restored and ready for new owner. Very limited production run, circa late 1970's. These are getting exceedingly rare - don't miss the chance to acquire one!
Shutter and film transport work properly. Meter responds to light, lens aperture and shutter speed settings (compared to in-house standard appears dead on, but accuracy was not verified with film). Light seals (including internal, around the prism) and mirror guard have been replaced.
EXC. No dents or other major blemishes. Small scuffs on the top of the prism cover, minor of brassing on the film door frame. Clean and sharp lettering on the shutter speed dial. Focusing screen and viewfinder are pristine. Original "Diamond" leatherette is in excellent condition. NOTE: "SE" sticker on the front of the camera is missing.
- SMC Pentax-M 50mm f/1.7 normal prime lens. MINT- condition, scratch-free glass, no fungus is noticeable. Aperture is snappy and blades are free from oil. Focusing is smooth. The barrel of the lens shows practically no wear. The lens comes with metal screw-in front cap, Pentax rear cap and a rare Asahi Pentax Skylight filter (with original box). Excellent, high quality lens, made in Japan.
- Pentax body cap and camera strap, factory manual and a photography brochure (fair shape) and fresh battery for the meter.
