Desirable Pentax K1000 Special Edition in brown leatherette. This SLR has been bench-tested and is in excellent cosmetic and functional condition - perfect for a photography student of Pentax collector.

 

FUNCTION
Shutter and film transport work properly. Meter appears dead-on, responds to light, lens aperture and shutter speed settings (accuracy was not verified with film). Light seals and mirror guard have just been replaced.
 

COSMETICS
EXC. No dents other significant blemishes. Clean and sharp lettering on the shutter speed dial. Focusing screen and viewfinder are dust-free. Original leatherette is in excellent condition. There are signs of old glue on the periphery of the film door, minor peeling. "SE" sticker on front has rubbed off significantly.
 

COMES WITH

• SMC Pentax-M 50mm f/2 normal prime lens. Made in Japan version, EXC+ condition, scratch-free glass, no fungus. Aperture is snappy and blades are free from oil. Focusing is smooth. The barrel of the lens shows minimal wear, just a small scuff on the aperture ring. The lens comes with original Pentax front cap and Hoya Skylight filter.
• Focal 2x auto teleconverter. Clear glass, looks and works great. Comes with both front and rear caps and dedicated case. FREE BONUS: Pentax compact flash (not tested, with dedicated case).
• Camera bag (fair shape, needs a clean), fresh battery for the meter and a roll of film (expired, use at your risk).
