Pentax KM in excellent functional and cosmetic condition.  Robust camera, well regarded by advanced amateurs and semi-pro photographers, but user-friendly for a beginner. Full user manual is available at Butkus.org.

 

FUNCTION

Shutter, film transport and self-timer work properly. Meter appears to respond properly to light, shutter and lens settings (accuracy was not verified with film).  Mirror guard and light seals have been replaced.
 

COSMETICS

Excellent, with no dents, cracks or other major blemishes. Minor hairline scratches throughout, consistent with average use and age. Couple of small scuffs on the body corner under the door edge and on the hotshoe. Sharp, legible lettering on the dials. Viewfinder and focusing screen are bright and clear, with just a few tiny specs of dust (will not affect photo quality). Original leatherette is in excellent condition.
 

COMES WITH

• Pentax-M 50mm f1.4 prime lens in EXC++ condition. Scratch-free glass, no fungus.  Aperture is oil-free and snappy. Focus is smooth. Barrel shows minimal wear, no dents. Genuine Pentax front and rear caps are included. Lens comes with a rare Asahi pentax UV filter.
• Albinar ADG 28mm f2.8 lens with a dedicated case and rear cap. Clear glass and functioning aperture, performance untested.
• Vintage camera strap, Pentax Lenses and Accessories brochure and a fresh battery.
