Nice full-featured 35mm film SLR, perfect for a beginner film shooter or advanced amateur. Easy to carry around, ergonomic design, full range of program modes, full auto, Av and Tv shooting, Quartz data back, auto focus, compatible with a wide variety of excellent K-mount lenses available for very little money. Arguably the best camera of the Pentax popular ZX series. This particular unit is from the later production run.

FUNCTION

Shutter, meter, film transport, timer all work properly. NOTE: camera requires 2x CR2 batteries for operation (not included, but easily available everywhere). Quartz date feature untested (needs fresh button cells).
 

COSMETICS

EXC, no major blemishes. A couple of small scuffs on top, some scratches from normal use on the bottom - please see photos. Sharp lettering on the dials. Focusing screen and viewfinder are bright and clear.

• Pentax FA-J 28-80mm f/3.5-5 lens in EXC+ condition. Clear glass, no scratches or fungus. Aperture is snappy and blades are oil-free. Focusing is smooth. The barrel of the lens shows minimal signs of use. Original Pentax front cap included.
