RICOH XR-7
Ricoh XR-7 Black
Ricoh XR-7 is another underrated late-model manual focus film SLR, made with quality in Japan. Advanced LCD meter display, electronically controlled metal-leaf shutter with speeds from 1/1000s to 16s (!!), Aperture priority mode, exposure compensation option and film sensitivity all the way up to ASA 3200. To top it off, it is equipped with a Pentax K-lens mount, compatible with a huge variety of cheap high-quality lenses. Full user manual is available at Butkus.org.
FUNCTION
Shutter, timer and film transport work properly. Meter responds to light, lens aperture and shutter speed settings (accuracy was not verified with film). Light seal have just been replaced.
COSMETICS
EXC, no dents or other major blemishes. Small amount of brassing on the film door, and minor scuffs throughout consistent with typical use and age. Sharp legible lettering on the dials. Focusing screen and viewfinder are bright, with just a couple of tiny specs of dust (will not affect function in any way). Original leatherette has been professionally replaced with genuine pigskin leather embossed in Red Alligator pattern.
COMES WITH
