Ricoh XR-P Black / Blue Sea / Black Pigskin
Top of the line manual focus Ricoh SLR's from the early 1980's. This XR-P Multi-Program comes equipped with a Ricoh Databack and two Ricoh lenses, and is in excellent restored condition. This is a full-featured enthusiast film camera, with multiple Program modes, full manual shutter control, AE lock, exposure compensation, multiple exposure shooting and even capability to shoot using interval timer (when using XR winder)! One of the great features of this camera is that it comes with K-mount (just like ubiquitous Pentax K1000) and can be used with a huge variety of Pentax, Ricoh and other high quality lenses designed for this mount. Shutter fires accurately at all speeds, film advance, rewind and meter all work great. Viewfinder and focusing screen are bright and clean. Light seals were replaced with brand new foam and felt for years of flawless performance ($25 value!). Minor scratches on the prism cover, other than that, the body is in very good condition. The camera was professionally refinished in butter-soft Sea Blue genuine leather on front surfaces, and practical textured black pigskin leather in the back and grip. Beautiful and classy, without being too in-your-face. This particular body is equipped with a rare Ricoh Databack 2 in very good condition. Minor scratches on the surface, but no cracks. Functionality of the databack was not verified. The camera comes with two Ricoh lenses: standard Rikenon P 50mm f/2 prime and 70-210mm f/3.9 constant-aperture telephoto zoom. Both lenses are in mint condition and come with original front caps. Zoom lens also comes with the leather case of its own. High quality fast zoom lens, made in Japan. Glass on both lenses is clean and scratch-free; aperture is snappy and blades are free from oil. Fresh set of batteries for the camera and genuine Ricoh strap are included as well.
