A unique Yashica FR I film SLR, just serviced. Excellent prosumer camera, robust construction, aperture-priority shooting, full range of manual shutter speeds, exposure compensation, built-in self-timer. C/Y lens mount, compatible with Carl Zeiss, Yashica and third party lenses. Full user manual is available here.

FUNCTION

Shutter, film transport, meter and self-timer work properly. Meter appears accurate on the bench, but accuracy was not verified with film. Brand new seals and mirror guard installed for years of trouble-free operation. Frame counter works properly (rare in this model).
 

COSMETICS

Excellent. Minor brassing and small scratches throughout, consistent with age and normal use. Bright and clean lettering on the dials. Focusing screen and viewfinder are dust-free. Lens aperture indicator inside the viewfinder is missing a needle (no effect on function of the camera). Original leatherette has been replaced with genuine pigskin leather embossed in Red Alligator pattern - looks sharp with a black body.

• Yashica ML 50mm f/1.7 prime lens. Excellent condition, scratch-free optics. Just a touch of filamentous fungus inside, which will not affect the optical performance of the lens. Aperture is snappy and oil-free. Focusing is smooth. The barrel of the lens shows minimal wear, no dents. Generic front cap is included.
• Yashica FR film winder. Fully functional (batteries are not included). Cosmetically in good condition. Original Yashica camera strap and a fresh battery for the camera.
