Latest version of the venerable Yashica FX-3. One of the most basic film SLR's you can buy, this camera is full-proof. Full set of manual shutter speeds, +/- LED meter indicator - that's it. This camera has a robust metal leaf mechanical shutter and will shoot without batteries (only needed for meter operation). This particular version of FX-3 is known for a good quality leatherette, unlike earlier versions of this camera. As all Yashica film cameras of the period, it is equipped with C/Y lens mount, which allows it to be used with used with a vast range of high quality Carl Zeiss, Yashica and third party lenses. Great little beginner's film camera.

 

FUNCTION
Shutter, meter, timer and film transport all work properly. Light seals are in very good shape.
 

COSMETICS
EXC. Very clean, with minor brassing on the perimeter of the film door. Focusing screen and viewfinder and bright and clear of dust. Original leatherette is in excellent condition.
 

COMES WITH

• Yashica ML 50mm f/1.9 prime lens. EXC+ condition, scratch-free optics, no fungus. Aperture is snappy and blades are free from oil. Focusing is smooth. The barrel of the lens shows average wear, no dents. The lens comes with a UV filter and a new generic font cap. Yashica ML-series lenses are well built and excellent optically, often compared to their Carl Zeiss equivalents.
