Restored Yashica FX-7. This compact film SLR is finished in a custom Camo suede and comes with a standard 50mm prime lens. Equipped with a robust metal-leaf mechanical shutter and C/Y lens mount, compatible with a wide range of high quality Carl Zeiss, Yashica and third party lenses - this is a great camera for a beginner photographer, learning to shoot film properly - very basic and intuitive to operate. FX-7 is identical to the more common FX-3, except the chrome top and bottom covers. Made in Japan quality, restored for your enjoyment.

FUNCTION

Shutter, meter, film transport, timer all work properly. Brand new seals and mirror guard installed for years of trouble-free operation ($25 value).
 

COSMETICS

EXC, no dents or major blemishes, just minor brassing on the film door frame. Markings on the shutter speed dial are worn out a little, but still very legible. Focusing screen and viewfinder are dust-free. Original leatherette professionally replaced with Camo genuine suede.

• Yashica DSB 50mm f/1.9 prime lens in EXC+ condition. Nice sharp prime, chrome-nose version, with clear glass. No scratches or fungus. Aperture is snappy and blades are oil-free. Focusing is smooth. The barrel of the lens shows minimal signs of use, no dents. New generic front cap included, as well as Uv and polarizer filters.
• Camera strap and a set of fresh batteries for the meter.
