Beautifully restored copy of Yashica FX-D Quartz. Simple to use, easy to carry, ergonomic film SLR, FX-D features aperture-priority shooting, as well as full range of manual shutter speeds, AE lock and self-timer. Arguably the best model of the Yashica FX-series, FX-D is equipped with a robust metal-leaf quartz-controlled shutter and C/Y lens mount, which allows it to be used with used with a vast range of high quality Carl Zeiss, Yashica and third party lenses.

FUNCTION

Shutter, meter, film transport, timer all work properly. Brand new seals (including internal, around the prism) and mirror guard installed.
 

COSMETICS

Excellent. A few micro-scratches on the bottom, consistent with mild use and the age of the camera. Bright and clean lettering on the dials. Pristine focusing screen and viewfinder. Original leatherette professionally replaced with genuine pigskin leather embossed in Red Ostrich pattern.

• Yashica ML 50mm f/2.0 prime lens (made in Japan). Excellent shape, with no visible scratches on the optics. Aperture is snappy and blades are free from oil. Focusing is smooth. The barrel of the lens shows minimal wear - just a few tiny nicks on the front rim, which do not affect filter threads. Haze filter and genuine Yashica front cap are included. Great, sharp prime, often compared to equivalent Zeiss product in optical quality.
• Achiever 321ZA power flash. Excellent condition, works great, no corrosion in battery compartment. Comes with a set of filters and manual. Batteries (AA) not provided.
• Genuine Yashica camera strap, remote shutter release cord, factory manual (with warranty card) for the camera.
• A set of fresh batteries for the meter.
