Arguably the best model of the Yashica FX-series, FX-D is equipped with a robust metal-leaf quartz-controlled shutter and C/Y lens mount, which allows it to be used with used with a vast range of high quality Carl Zeiss, Yashica and third party lenses.

Shutter, meter, film transport, timer all work properly. Brand new light seals and mirror guard installed.
 

COSMETICS

Excellent. Minor scuffs throughout, consistent with normal use and the age of the camera. Bright and clean lettering on the dials. Focusing screen and viewfinder and bright and clear, with just a couple of tiny specs of dust (no effect on photo quality). Original leatherette professionally replaced with genuine pigskin leather embossed in Orange Alligator pattern. This camera is very cheerful and bright - sure to draw compliments.

• Tokina 28-80mm f/3.8-4.8 zoom lens. Glass is in excellent condition, with no visible scratches or fungus. Aperture is snappy and blades are free from oil. Focusing is smooth. The barrel of the lens is in excellent condition, but there is a shallow dent on the front rim, which will prevent mounting of filters. The dent has no effect on the lens performance - nice versatile normal zoom, made in Japan.
