Custom restored Yashica FX-D Quartz film SLR in excellent condition. Another restored Yashica FX-D bundle. FX-D is a underrated film camera. Very user-friendly and compact - perfect for a beginner film shooter . It comes with a C/Y mount and accepts high-end Contax and Carl Zeiss lenses, in addition to Yashica's own wide range of lenses.

Body of this camera is well preserved: minor scratches on the bottom and some brassing around strap lugs, no dents. The battery cap grove is somewhat worn, but still functional. Shutter fires properly at all speeds, film transport, timer and meter all work great. Viewfinder and focusing screen are dust-free and bright. Original leatherette on this body was professionally replaced with genuine lambskin leather in Brown Lizard pattern. Brand new light seals and mirror guard were installed as well. This camera comes with Yashica ML 50mm f/2.0 lens. Compact and sharp, excellent quality multicoated lens, sometimes compared to Carl Zeiss equivalents at 1/5 the cost. Glass is scratch-free. There appears to be a few small patches of fungus on the back element, which will not affect photo quality. Aperture action is snappy, no oil on the blades. The barrel shows very minimal signs of use. Hoya Skylight filter, generic front cap, fresh batteries for the meter, Yashica camera case and leather strap are included. Nice little made-in-Japan film SLR, beautifully restored for you.
