Exc+ copy of Yashica FX-D. Arguably the best designed camera of the Yashica FX-series, it shares a lot of features with a highly rated Contax 139. In addition to Yashica branded glass, Contax and Carl Zeiss lenses can also be mounted on this camera, which makes it attractive cost-effective alternative to Contax bodies.

 

Body of this camera is very clean, no dents or major scuffs. Lettering on the dials is crisp and bright. Shutter fires properly at all speeds, film transport, timer and meter all work great. Viewfinder and focusing screen are bright and clear. Light seals and mirror guard were replaced. Original leatherette on this body was replaced with Catalina Blue smooth genuine cowhide leather. This camera comes with a classic Yashica ML 50mm f/1.9 prime lens - very nice, sharp multi-coated prime, equaling in quality to the best normal lenses. Glass is crystal-clear and scratch-free, no fungus or oil on aperture, barrel is close to flawless. Genuine Yashica front lens cap, UV and Red filters (52mm size), factory manual for the samera, fresh batteries for the meter and Yashica camera strap are included. This particular camera also comes with a Yashica FX film winder, finished in matching leather. The winder works great and in good cosmetic condition, with miscelaneous scratches from normal use. Batteries for the winder are not included.
