Another restored Yashica FX-D, this one is in black! Excellent full-featured alternative to more bulky cameras often recommended for photography students. Very ergonomic with aperture-priority shooting, full range of manual shutter speeds, exposure lock and self-timer. Like other FX- series Yashicas, this SLR is equipped with a robust metal-leaf quartz-controlled Copal shutter and C/Y lens mount, compatible with a wide range of high quality Carl Zeiss, Contax, Yashica and third party lenses. Seriously under-rated camera, made in Japan, shares many features with Contax 139.

FUNCTION
Shutter, meter, film transport, timer all work properly. Brand new seals and mirror guard installed for years of trouble-free operation ($25 value).
 

COSMETICS
EXC, no dents or major scratches. A few small dings and brassing on the bottom. Bright and clear lettering on the dials. Focusing screen and viewfinder are pristine. Original leatherette was professionally replaced with brand new black pigskin leather - very practical and sharp-looking.

• Vivitar 28mm f/2.8 wide-angle prime lens. Near mint condition, crystal clear glass, no scratches or fungus. Aperture is snappy and blades are oil-free. Focusing is smooth. The barrel of the lens shows minimal signs of use. New generic front caps included.
• Compact flash unit (clean and works well, batteries not included). Yashica camera case in average shape (bottom separated, but easy to re-glue, sticky edges), Yashica camera strap and a set of fresh batteries for the camera.
