A rare, black Yashica TL Electro X ITS in excellent restored condition, fully working. Arguably one of the best M42-mount film SLRs to use with your Takumars and other lenses. Pleasure to use, exceptionally well built camera, with electronic "arrow type" exposure indicator and a robust Copal metal shutter. Black-finish copies of this camera are seldom seen in such a nice shape - don't miss it. Made in Japan.

 

FUNCTION

Shutter, meter, film transport and self-timer all work properly. Brand new light seals and mirror guard were just installed ($25 value). Special care was taken to dust-proof the prism and focusing screen inside.
 

COSMETICS

Excellent. The body is very well preserved, just minor brassing around the strap lugs and top of the prism. Shutter speed dial is undamaged and sharp. Focusing screen and viewfinder are pristine (rarely the case!). Original leatherette is in excellent condition.
 

COMES WITH

 

• Auto Yashinon-DX 50mm f/1.7 prime lens in EXC+ condition. Crystal-clear glass, with no visible scratches or fungus. Aperture is snappy and blades are free from oil. Focusing is smooth. The barrel of the lens shows practically no wear, just a couple of tiny nicks on the front rim (filter threads are unaffected). The lens comes with a new generic front cap.
• Original Yashica camera strap and a fresh battery for the meter.
