Canon A-1 in excellent, fully functional condition. One of the most advanced and full-featured Canon film cameras of its day, with a digital LED display for shutter speed and aperture and a full set of features. Robust camera, well regarded by advanced amateurs and semi-pro photographers, but user-friendly for a beginner. Full user manual is available at Butkus.org.

FUNCTION
Shutter, film transport and and self-timer work properly. Meter appears to respond properly to light, shutter and lens settings, but accuracy was not verified with film. Shutter is squeak-free. Brand new seals and mirror guard installed for years of trouble-free operation. Original finger grip and viewfinder cup are included.
 

COSMETICS
EXC. No major blemishes or dents, just minor brassing on the bottom and micro-scratches throughout from normal use. Bright and clean lettering on the dials. Focusing screen and viewfinder are scratch- and dust-free. There is a couple of small rust spots on the mirror (will not affect shooting). Original leatherette is in excellent condition. Battery door intact.
 

COMES WITH

• Canon FD 50mm f/1.4 prime lens. Nice, fast lens in EXC condition, no scratches or fungus, just a touch of internal haze and dust (will not affect performance). Aperture is snappy and oil-free. Focusing is smooth. The barrel of the lens shows minimal wear, with a few superficial scuffs on the front rim. Original Canon front cap, generic rear cap and Vivitar Skylight filter included.
• Canon Angle Finder A2 - mint, in original box.
• FREE BONUS: Canon film Winder A2 and Speedlite 199A power flash. Both clean but untested, some corrosion in the battery chambers. Batteries not included.
