One of the most popular Canon film cameras of its day, with a LED meter display, Program and Aperture Priority modes and a full set of manual shutter speeds. Robust camera, well regarded by advanced amateurs, but user-friendly for a beginner. This particular camera is a black-body variety, rarely available in the US.

FUNCTION

Shutter, timer, meter and film transport all work properly. Shutter is squeak-free. Light seals and mirror guard are brand new ($25 value).
 

COSMETICS

Very good. Normal signs of use, nothing that will detract from overall clean appearance. Clear lettering on the dials. Focusing screen is dust-free. Original leatherette is in very good shape. Paint on the back and bottom is a bit uneven - please see photos. The camera comes with a finger grip.

• Canon FD 50mm f/1.8 prime lens in EXC+ condition. Glass is scratch-free, no fungus. Aperture is snappy and blades are free from oil. Focusing is a bit tight but smooth. The barrel shows practically no wear, all markings are bright and legible. New generic front cap and Vivitar skylight filter are included.
• FOCAL power flash in good condition, works properly (batteries not included). Vintage Canon camera strap and a fresh battery for the camera.
