Contax 139 Quartz film SLR in fully functional condition with a matching winder. Comes with a Carl Zeiss lens with clear optics, but some cosmetic damage, mostly on the name plate. No returns on this camera please (unless delivered not as described).

FUNCTION

Shutter, meter, film transport, timer all work properly. Light seals and mirror guard have been replaced ($29 value).
 

COSMETICS

Good. No dents. Minor scuffs and some brassing throughout, consistent with age. Clear lettering on the dials. Focusing screen and viewfinder are bright, with just a few tiny specs of dust (will not affect shooting). Brand new black leatherette installed.
 

COMES WITH

 

• Carl Zeiss Planar T* 50mm f/1.7 prime lens. Optically the lens is in very good condition with no visible scratches on the elements or fungus. Aperture blades are oil-free and close properly. Focus is a bit tight. The lens has a couple of cosmetic issues. There is some paint loss on the outside of the front rim. There is also a fairly large piece of the name plate that seems to have been broken off and glued back in at some point in the past - please see photos. Comes with a new front cap. High quality, sharp prime lens, that needs some TLC.
• FREE BONUS: Rare Contax power film winder, clean and finished in matching black leatherette (works fine, batteries not included). Fresh batteries for the camera.
