Rare and beautiful black-body Fujica ST701, with a spare camera body! Equipped with a mechanical shutter (batteries not required!), this camera will work wonderfully with Takumars and other high-performing screw-mount manual focus lenses. Fujica ST series are well known for robust operation and a very "dark" (well light-proofed) mirror box, which helps with contrast. Full user manual can be found at Butkus.org.

 

FUNCTION
Shutter, meter, film transport and self-timer work properly (accuracy of the meter has not been verified with film). Brand new light seals and mirror guard were installed ($29 value). Second camera body is fully functional as well (film compartment light seals will need replacement soon, contact us if interested). NOTE: this camera requires two 1.4V button batteries to operate the meter (not included). Shutter will fire without batteries.
 

COSMETICS
EXC++. No major blemishes or dents, barely any noticeable brassing which is rare in black bodies. Focusing screen and viewfinder are clear of dust. Original leatherette is in excellent shape. Chrome-top camera is in EXC++ condition also, but is missing a shutter speed knob cover with markings.
 

COMES WITH

• Auto Chinon 50mm f/1.7 prime lens. EXC++ condition, scratch-free glass, no fungus. Aperture blades show traces of oil, but still close properly. Focus is smooth. Barrel of the lens shows normal wear. The lens comes with original front cap. Nice fast normal prime.
